WHAT IS IT SUPPOSED TO DO: Of the primary ingredients, HCA helps suppress appetite and hinder the production of cholesterol and fat; C-carnitine-l-carnitine/” >L-carnitine oxidizes and transports fatty acids and helps increase good cholesterol levels; and guarana and ephedra stimulate metabolism. This product is advertised as being for people who want to lose weight without consuming a large amount of ephedrine; however, typical ephedra doses are about 90 mg per day, so this product actually contains three times the usual dose.
COMMENTS: This product contains ephedra, which has been linked with serious side effects, including death. It also contains a caffeine-containing substance, guarana. This combination is likely to cause anxiety, insomnia, agitation, and other reactions.
